How to Join
As a new member, you are offered 4 free meetings to see if scouts is a good fit for you before you make the decision to invest into your specific section.
Follow the below steps and we will get you started:

Give it a go and see if it’s as fun as it looks.
Provide your section leader with your child’s name and date of birth.
Provide your section leader with your name (parent or guardian), contact number and email address.
The section leader will ensure to send a welcome letter.
Next, purchase a scout uniform shirt (for your child’s section) from the Scouts online store. The website can be found at The Scout Shop
Advise your sections head leader that the above has been arranged.
Your sections head leader will plan a date and time that suits the child (and family) for an investment ceremony. This is usually week four of your child's scouting journey.
Once these steps are completed, Scouts WA Branch Office will send out an invoice for Scouting Fees. These are called annual branch fees and cover the membership to Scouts along with member insurance.
Finally, Mandurah Scouts will issue an invoice based on your selected payment option (yearly or by school term). These fees are collected to cover the groups running and program costs. Please refer to the groups fee structure. Invoices are to be paid in full by the due date. Attendance will be terminated for non-payment of invoices.

$90.00 per term ($360.00 per year)
Venturer's
$45.00 per term ($180.00 per year)
Rovers
$25.00 initial payment to Mandurah Scouts then ongoing fees directly to the Crew.

New members will be invoiced for the remainder of the term from date of investment.
All payments will be made by the due date issued on invoices.
Youth members will be removed from their respective section if payment is not made by an invoices due date unless on agreement of the Group Leader and Committee.
The Group Leader holds the ultimate decision for the removal of a youth member due to non payment of fees.
Due to allocation of funds for operational costs refunds will not be offered under any circumstances.
